Opening the coordination office of the World Bank in the capital, Aden

The World Bank opened its coordination office in the capital, Aden, as part of the joint efforts of the government and the World Bank to meet the challenges facing our country in the current difficult phase, and to promote economic recovery and development.
The World Bank’s local coordinator, Samra Al-Shaibani, began her duties as a field representative of the World Bank, where she met with the Minister of Planning, Dr. Waed Bathib, and the Deputy Minister of Planning, Dr. Nizar Bashaib, who welcomed the opening of the World Bank’s coordination office in Aden.
The World Bank Coordinator in Aden, Samra Al-Shaibani, stressed the need to make all possible efforts to work on the recovery of the economy, stressing the World Bank’s continued support for our country, its people, and its institutions.
