Preparatory for Conference of Southern Journalists salutes success of Aden Consultative Meeting and approves January 17 as date for the conference

The Administrative Committee announced, in its meeting with heads of the sub-committees of the Preparatory Committee for the first conference of southern journalists and media members, on Tuesday, that the conference will be held on January 17th.
The meeting, chaired by Dr. Abdullah Al-Haw, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee, valued the outstanding success of the consultative meeting of the journalists and media members of the capital, Aden, stressing that it reflects the pioneering role of the city of Aden in the media and civilization.
The Preparatory Committee called for turning the conference of southern journalists and media members into a southern media event that embodies southern cohesion and solidarity, and promotes the role of southern press and media institutions.
