Presidency of Southern Transitional Council: We will not hesitate to take appropriate measures to alleviate suffering of citizens

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held the prime minister of the power-sharing government, and the ministers who are abroad, the responsibility for deteriorating the service conditions, and the deterioration of the local currency in the liberated governorates of the South.

The Presidency of the Transitional Council indicated that the government’s failure to perform its duties doubles the suffering of the citizens, stressing that the Southern Transitional Council will not hesitate to take appropriate measures to alleviate the suffering of the citizens.

This came during the periodic meeting of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, today, Monday, in the capital, Aden, headed by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Council.

The meeting was attended by the ministers of the Transitional Council in the power-sharing government, in which the Presidency of the Council reviewed the minutes of its previous meeting, and its achieved outcomes, in addition to the latest developments on the southern arena.

The Presidency announced its absolute support for the peaceful protests organized by the people of Hadramout governorate, denouncing the economic, living and service collapse, calling on all masses of the people of Hadramout to protect the government facilities and institutions as they are the property of the people, and not to be dragged behind those who try to divert the course of peaceful protests, warning, at the same time, that any clash against the peaceful masses of people, who are demanding their legitimate rights, will lead to dire consequences.

In the same context, the Presidency of the Council called on all free men and women of Shabwa governorate to actively participate on September 15 in the peaceful protest event to be held in all parts of Shabwa districts, to express their definite rejection of all practices, violations, arrests, and kidnappings practiced by the Brotherhood militias against the people of the governorate.

The Presidency stressed the need to make the Southern National Dialogue a success, and to start consultations with all southern national forces, reiterating the great importance that the Southern National Dialogue enjoys abroad, and the need for everyone to engage in it as a safe and effective path to unite the ranks of the South, in a way that meets the aspirations of its proud people in liberation and independence and the restoration of its full sovereignty state.

The Presidency of the Council also stressed the importance of continuing the legal procedures in the case of the Yemeni youth, Abdul Malik Anwar Ahmed Al-Sanabani, stressing the need for the prosecution and the judiciary to carry out the procedures of the case, and to reveal its circumstances to the public.

At the conclusion of its meeting, the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council addressed a number of organizational and administrative issues related to the work of some of the Council’s bodies, and took the necessary measures regarding each of them.
