Presidency of STC stands before developments of political, economic and military situation in the South

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), on Monday, held a meeting headed by Mr. Fadl Mohammed Al-Jaadi, the Deputy Secretary-General in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of STC.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Presidency stood for a minute of mourn, to read the Fatiha for the soul of the martyr commander Major General Thabet Muthanna Jawas, the commander of Al-Anad military axis, and his companions who got martyred by terrorist bombing last week.
After that, the Presidency reviewed a report presented by the Decision-Making Support Center of STC, which included the most prominent developments in the regional and international political situation, foremost of which are the developments of the consultations to be held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and the participation of the Transitional Council in it, in addition to the developments of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, and its effects on internal matters.
During the meeting, the Presidency expressed its stance in support of the demands of the Belharith tribes in Shabwa governorate, represented in reducing the prices of oil derivatives for the people of the concession areas, and providing it at reasonable prices as a genuine right for the people of the governorate.
The Presidency also expressed its rejection of the repressive practices that have been used by pro-Brotherhood troops, the so-called troops of protecting the oil companies, against protesters from the Belharith tribes.
In the same context, the Presidency renewed its position in support of the popular movements in Hadhramout, represented by the Hadrami uprising, which aims to extract the rights of the people of the governorate, and to remove the Yemeni forces from Hadhramout Valley areas, and enable the people of the governorate to manage their governorate, and hand over security tasks to the Hadrami Elite Forces.
The Presidency stood before the latest military field developments across the southern fronts, and the ongoing Houthi escalation on the Yafea, Al-Dhalea and Mukairas fronts, praising in the context the high fighting spirit enjoyed by our valiant Southern Armed Forces personnel in the fields of honor and heroism.
In its meeting, the Presidency touched on the developments of the economic crisis, the excessive increase in food prices, and the government’s failure to assume its national responsibilities to revive the economic situation, and to stop the collapse of the currency exchange rate, and provide services to citizens in accordance with the requirements of the Riyadh Agreement, stressing the need for the power-sharing government to assume its responsibilities in this aspect and work to put an end to the suffering of the citizens with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
At the conclusion of its meeting, the Presidency discussed a number of issues on its agenda and took the necessary measures regarding them.
