Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council stands before latest developments in Abyan and Shabwa governorates

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, held today, Monday, its periodic meeting headed by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Transitional Council.
In its meeting, the Presidency of the Transitional Council stood before the latest developments in the governorates of Shabwa and Abyan.
The Presidency of the Council praised the popular and mass movement witnessed in the districts of Shabwa governorate, in rejection of the arrogance and occupation policies implemented by the Muslim Brotherhood militias, which control state institutions and economic resources, and harness military and security facilities and their capabilities to suppress and kill innocent defenseless civilians who reject their presence in their governorate.
In the same context, the Presidency reviewed a detailed report, presented by Salem Thabet Al-Awlaki, member of the Presidency of the Council, about the most prominent developments in Shabwa, in which it shed light on the popular movement and the mass momentum witnessed in the districts of Rudhum, Nisab, Talh, Al-Saeed, and areas of Huda and Bayhan, Al-Rawdah, Khora, and all the cities and villages of Shabwa, affirming their support for the public consultative meeting, which is scheduled to be hosted in Nisab district on Tuesday, at the invitation of Sheikh Awad Mohammed Bin Al-Wazir Al-Awlaki.
The Presidency also stood in front of the latest developments of the situation in Bayhan and Usaylan, especially after reports of forcing families by Houthi militias to enroll their children, from primary school students, in military recruitment campaign imposed by the Houthi militias to push children into the furnace of war, as well as its systematic practices in the districts occupied by it that aimed at bringing about a change in religious rites and societal traditions to obliterate the southern identity, and replace it with sectarian beliefs aimed at spreading its Iranian agendas.
In its meeting, the Presidency also reviewed the latest developments in Abyan governorate, praising the steadfastness of the heroes of the southern resistance in Thera front and the Halhal mountains, in light of the continuous mobilization of the Houthi militia on the border areas with Al-Bayda.
In a separate context, the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council discussed the briefing provided by the South-South Dialogue Team, which included a summary of the most important achievements of the team in its meetings with components and southern communities abroad, and listened to the most prominent difficulties facing the team’s work to complete the tasks assigned to it.
