President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi discusses with Russian Chargé d’Affairs latest developments in our country

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, on Thursday evening, made a video call with the Chargé d’Affairs of the Russian Embassy in Yemen, Dr. Yevgeny Kodrov.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in the military, political and economic situation in our country and the region, and the path of the political process led by the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen, and the importance of supporting efforts to establish peace, stop the war, and enter into a comprehensive political process that reflects the reality of the parties on the ground and national issues, foremost of which is the issue of the people of the South .
The meeting reviewed the historical relations between the South and the Russian Federation, and ways to develop and strengthen them, in which the two sides stressed the necessity of uniting all international efforts towards a comprehensive and just political solution, resolving the economic crisis and alleviating the suffering of citizens in the South and Yemen.
