President Al-Zoubaidi Gets Briefed on the General Staff Workflow

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zoubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), was briefed on the workflow in the General Staff and its affiliated departments.

This came during his meeting today, Tuesday, with Major General Ahmed Al-Basr, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, where his excellency listened to a detailed explanation of the achievements of the general staff and its affiliated departments during the year 2023, in addition to its plans and programs for the upcoming year 2024 and the mechanism for their implementation.

Similarly, the President was briefed by Maj. Gen. Al-Basr on the military situation on various combat fronts, aspects of training, moral and logistical preparedness, the readiness of military machinery and equipment, and maintenance workshops in the regions and units of the armed forces.

At the end of the meeting, President Al-Zoubaidi emphasized redoubling efforts, cooperation, integration, and continued assessment of the level of administrative, field, and moral performance, as well as the aspect of training and qualification, to fulfill the highest degree of discipline and effectiveness.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Imad Mohammad, Office Director of the Vice President of the PLC.
