SMA NEWS- ADEN THE CAPITAL
President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), delivered an important speech to our southern people both at home and abroad on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
Here is the full text of the speech:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
All praise is for Allah, Lord of the Worlds. May the praise of Allah and His peace be on Prophet Muhammad [PBUH], his family, and Companions.
Ladies and gentlemen, our people of the South both at home and abroad
It gives me great pleasure to extend to you my warmest congratulations and sincere blessings on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha. May Allah return it to our people with security, stability, and development, and to our Arab and Islamic nations with goodness, blessings, further progress, and prosperity.
Let me also extend my congratulations to the pilgrims of the Ancient House of Allah, these pilgrims who perform the rituals of Hajj in compliance with the Almighty’s saying, “And proclaim to mankind the Hajj (pilgrimage). They will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, they will come from every deep and distant (wide) mountain highway (to perform Hajj).” Allah Almighty is truthful, praying to the Lord Almighty to make their pilgrimage acceptable and their endeavor commendable, and to grant success to all who obey and worship Him well.
Eid al-Adha is a great religious occasion, and we must remember that this solemn occasion embodies the values of goodness, tolerance, sacrifice, mercy, solidarity, cohesiveness, and extending a helping hand to the oppressed in light of the continuing difficult conditions that our mighty and steadfast people live in due to the course of their liberation revolution to restore their dignity and independence.
Our great people of the South
We live with you the details of your suffering in the beloved capital, Aden, Hadhramaut, and the rest of the governorates of our beloved South, and we feel the extent of the pain that you are experiencing in light of the continued deterioration of living conditions and the failure of the government to carry out its duties. We are doing our best and pushing too hard to put an end to your suffering and search for sustainable solutions for basic services, foremost among them electricity.
Dear sisters and brothers:
Indeed, we have been able, through your unrelenting struggle, patience, and cohesiveness, to take our just national cause advanced steps in the political and military tracks and to strengthen its presence both at home and abroad and in decision-making centers, until everyone reached a complete certainty that its solution is the main basis for all issues and problems and the key to sustainable peace in Yemen and the region.
We reaffirm that we are open-minded to all the exerted endeavors by our official brothers and friends in the region and the world to end the war and bring peace to the country and the region, and we deal with them seriously, as long as they respect the will of our great southern people, appreciate their struggle, and include achieving their uncompromising goals, on which no concessions will be tolerated. Our people have not and will not allow any political, economic, or military arrangements that affect the essence of their cause and national interests or bypass them in any future solutions.
O free and steadfast people
Verily, we have made a commitment to pursue the path of dialogue to remove all differences and variations in visions with all the people of the homeland, with whom we share the destiny of this land, and we have accomplished important steps in strengthening our national cohesiveness, through the consultative meeting, which culminated in the signing of the Southern National Charter, by all forces and components that believe in the inevitability of restoring the state of the South, and we affirm that we are pursuing this approach with all the people of our southern homeland wherever they are, and whatever their orientations and visions will be, as long as the goal is to enable our people to manage their own affairs, and their sovereignty over their land.
Our people, both at home and abroad
As we receive this holiday with the rest of our Arab and Islamic nations, we get the chance to congratulate the leaders and peoples of the brotherly Arab coalition countries on this occasion, and we reaffirm that our relationship with our official brothers in the coalition countries, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, is strategic, crucial, and renewable to face the risks and dangers that threaten the peoples of our region and our Arab project.
We also find it an opportunity to extend our sincere congratulations, greetings, and prayers to the heroes of our valiant southern armed forces, who are picketing on various fronts and military sites, to assist them, as they will always and forever remain the most remarkable examples of ultimate sacrifice, redemption, courage, daring, and support for the oppressed, and the source of our pride and dignity.
In conclusion..
We renew our congratulations to all our people, both at home and abroad, and the Arab and Islamic nations, on this great occasion, and we pray to Allah, Almighty, to return Eid and ensure that all the goals and aspirations of our people have been achieved.
Eid Mubarak and Many happy returns, with the best wishes for a happy Eid
