President Al-Zubaidi Arrives in New York to Participate in 79th Session of the UNGA

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), arrived on Saturday evening in New York City, USA, along with the Chairman of the PLC, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, and Vice Chairman of the PLC, Mr. Othman Mujali, to participate in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

In remarks to the media, the President expressed his delight at participating in the 79th session of the UNGA. His excellency has noted that the second visit to New York is a continuation of efforts to bring the country’s issues to the forefront of the international agenda through a series of meetings that will be held with heads of delegations and regional and international decision-makers.

The President is accompanied by a number of STC senior officials on his visit to the USA.
