President Al-Zubaidi chairs periodic meeting of military and security commanders

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, chaired today, Tuesday, the periodic meeting of the military and security commanders.

In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi stressed the necessity of military contact and control, emphasizing on the importance of doubling the efforts made by the defense and security institutions, and raising the pace of their achievements, especially in this exceptional stage that the south is going through.

President Al-Zubaidi praised the efforts of the security services in the capital, Aden, which were reflected on the ground through the remarkable stability of security in the governorate, stressing at the same time, the need to continue those efforts to reach the desired level in accordance with the security strategy.

President Al-Zubaidi added: “Everyone who belongs to the honor of being a soldier in security or army, as a commander, officer, or individual, must embody in his behavior the values ​​of the liberating southern revolution, which are based on honesty, integrity, sincerity, courage, redemption, altruism, sacrifice, national belonging, and rising above self-interests, and working with moral responsibility towards others, for the supreme goal that the martyrs and wounded sacrificed their lives and blood for the sake of achieving, which is liberation and independence, and the restoration of the state of the south with its full sovereignty, and the victory for the pride and dignity of the people of the south.

President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi also commanded for the necessity of strengthening the military judiciary in a way to perform its role to the fullest, as it a solid basis for controlling the pace of military and security action.

The meeting reviewed a number of topics related to the military and security affairs, as well as the latest military developments on the various fighting fronts, and the level of readiness of all southern armed forces units.

In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi listened, from the heads of the two military and security committees, to a detailed explanation of what the two committees had accomplished during the past week, especially in organizing, developing, and modernizing the military and security institutions of the southern armed forces, in accordance with the general strategy previously approved.

In turn, the head of the Economic Committee delivered a full briefing on what the committee accomplished during the past week, and what its field teams achieved, as well as an explanation of the most important difficulties and obstacles it faced during its work.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Deputy Director of Security in the capital, Aden, Brigadier General Abu Bakr Jabr, presented a detailed explanation of the security situation in the capital, Aden, stressing that the security services are working at a high pace in maintaining security, stability, and public tranquility, which reflected themselves on the ground in noticeable stability and security.
