President Al-Zubaidi chairs the periodic meeting of the military and security commands

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, chaired today, Saturday, the periodic meeting of military and security leaders, at the council’s headquarters in the capital, Aden.

The meeting reviewed the decisions of the previous meeting, the level of implementation of the tasks entrusted to the committees, and the process of fielding to inspect the readiness and preparations of the Southern Armed Forces, as well as inspecting the progress of training programs in the various forces and combat units.

The meeting stood in front of the military mobilization process carried out by the Brotherhood militia in “Shokra and Al-Sabiha”, and the readiness of the southern armed forces to confront these crowds and military formations affiliated with the Brotherhood, and terrorist organizations that seek to turn the south into a center for them, and an arena for their terrorist actions that target the security and stability of the people of the South, as well as the security and stability of the entire Arab region, targeting the efforts of the regional and international community to bring peace to the country and the region.

The meeting got briefed on the progress of the military confrontations of the southern armed forces in “Therra, Al-Dhalea, and Karish” against the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia, and the victories achieved by the heroes of the armed forces on those fronts.

The meeting praised the steadfast heroes of the southern armed forces in various fields and the battle fronts to defend the homeland of the south, its gains, and the future of its people to reach safety and to achieve the aspirations of the people of the south and its martyrs in restoring their state and building their full sovereignty federal state over its entire national lands.

With regard to the unfortunate events of Sheikh Othman, the meeting expressed its regret for these actions that are not related to the doctrine of the southern armed forces, military and security, calling for the completion of the investigation process, and for taking deterrent measures against the perpetrators of these acts, to ensure that they will not be repeated in the future, stressing confidence in the units of the Armed Forces and Southern Security who are the strong shield for the south, its cause, and the aspirations of its people for liberation, independence and the restoration of the state of the south.

In conclusion, the meeting took a number of decisions aimed at strengthening discipline and readiness, activating the work of command and control, and preventing abuses and practices that violate the national foundations and principles of the members of the southern security and military establishment, and the ongoing arrangements to complete the building of the armed forces and southern security on national, practical, scientific, and professional foundations that the people of the south always honor.
