President Al-Zubaidi congratulates Major Generals Mahmoud Al-Subaihi and Nasser Mansour and their companions for their liberation from the Houthi militia’s prisons

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, on Friday, congratulated Major General Mahmoud Ahmed Salem Al-Subaihi, former Minister of Defense, and Major General Nasser Mansour Hadi, and their companions, for their liberation from the prisons of the Houthi militia, and for their safe return, thank Allah, to their homeland and their families.

President Al-Zubaidi said, in his congratulations on his social media pages: “We assure our people that our efforts are continuing to liberate all southern prisoners and detainees, in which the liberation of every southerner is an integral part of the liberation of the land, and we will not calm down, or get a wink, until all the people of the South return right to their families.”

President Al-Zubaidi continued: “We salute all the efforts made by our negotiating team throughout the stages of the prisoners exchange negotiations, as well as the efforts made by the International Committee of the Red Cross, and all the efforts made to liberate our prisoners and return them safely to their homeland and loved ones.”

President Al-Zubaidi concluded his congratulation by saying: “We assure our heroic prisoners who returned today, and those who are still in the militia prisons, that the years you spent behind bars, steadfast and unwavering, will not be in vain, and will remain a source of pride for your country and your people.”
