President Al-Zubaidi Congratulates President Al-Sisi on Anniversary of July Revolution

The president Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Deputy head of the Presidential Leadership Council, has offered a cable of congratulations to the president of the Arab Republic of Egypt, congratulating him on the 70th anniversary of the 23rd of July Revolution.

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the glorious 23rd of July Revolution, on my own behalf and on behalf of leadership of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and people of the South, it is my immense pleasure to offer H.E. the president Abdul-Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the best of congratulations, coupled with sincere wishes of happiness and good health, and to grant His Excellency, and the great people of Egypt further advancement and highness.

Indeed, the people of the South share in their overwhelming joy and pride with the leadership and people of Egypt on this immortal occasion, which marked the launching outset of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and its proud people towards glory and prideness, which has enabled it to play a high pioneering role in supporting the strivings and aspirations of peoples craving for freedom; foremost of which is our southern people, who enjoyed with high Egyptian support to bring victory and triumph to its blessed revolution, which culminated in complete independence on November 30, 1967.

The revolution of July 23, 1952, represented a milestone in history of the worldwide liberating movement, and based on that, it

has been and will surely remain a source of pride for our people, as like as the brotherly Egyptian people.

At the time we are hopefully looking forward towards the mutual relations of our two brotherly peoples fulfilling a broad-based prosperity, growth and development, praying to Allah the Almighty to grant the aspirations of Egypt towards further advancement, prosperity and development under the wise leadership; headed by President Abdul-Fattah Al-Sisi.
