President Al-Zubaidi gets briefed on latest developments in Socotra Archipelago

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, received on Monday evening, the Head of the executive body of the local leadership of the Council in Socotra Archipelago, Eng. Raafat Ali Al-Thaqali.
In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed Eng. Al-Thaqali, in which he listened from him to a full explanation of the conditions in Socotra Archipelago, and the efforts made by the local leadership there to improve the living situation in the governorate.
President Al-Zubaidi praised the efforts made by the leadership of the Transitional Council in Socotra in order to establish security and stability, and to advance the service situation on the island, stressing the keenness of the Council’s leadership and its support for the local leadership in the archipelago to carry out its tasks in serving the citizens to the fullest.
President Al-Zubaidi urged the head of the local leadership of Socotra archipelago to redouble efforts to contribute in alleviating the suffering of the southern citizens in Socotra, stressing the importance of getting closer to the citizens and touching on their concerns.
For his part, Eng. Al-Thaqali expressed his deep thanks for the sincere stances and great support provided by the President Al-Zubaidi of Socotra Archipelago, stressing that the local leadership in the governorate will spare no effort in establishing security and stability in the archipelago and in serving its citizens.
