President Al-Zubaidi gets briefed on the work progress in the free zone of Aden

The president of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Deputy Head of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, on Monday, met in his office in the capital, Aden, the President of Aden Free Zone, Mr. Hassan Haid.
President Al-Zubaidi got briefed from Haid on the situation of the free zone and the investments in it, and the difficulties faced by the administration of the free zone to improve the quality of work and provide the climate that would develop current investments and attract new investors.
In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi stressed the need to redouble efforts to improve the free zone to be better than its current status and to set a strategic plan for its development in a manner that provides an attractive environment for major investment in its projects.
President Al-Zubaidi noted to the importance of the free zone as a basic pillar of the national economy and a pillar of investment in our country, and the need to put an end to the overlapping of authorities in it between the free zone administration and other government agencies.
For his part, the president of the free zone expressed his thanks and gratitude for all the efforts made by President Al-Zubaidi to get the free zone out of its improper status, and his readiness to adopt its future development plans.
