President Al-Zubaidi Gets Briefed on Workflow in CAMA

President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met at his residence in Al-Mukalla on Friday evening with Captain Saleh Bin Nahid, the director general of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority (CAMA).
President Al-Zubaidi was briefed on the situation and workflow in CAMA, as well as the conditions and readiness of the airports in the liberated governorates. In this respect, President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of re-operating Ataq and Al-Ghaydah airports to serve the citizens in the governorates of Shabwa and Almahra.
The meeting, too, discussed possible ways and mechanisms for developing work in CAMA, qualifying its staff, modernizing navigational control systems at airports, the overall difficulties encountering CAMA, and ways that can contribute to solving such challenges.
For his part, Captain Bin Nahid offered thanks to President Al-Zubaidi for his incessant support for the Ministry of Transportation and the leadership of CAMA to overcome the difficulties or challenges that may hinder their work.
