President Al-Zubaidi Gets Briefed on Yemen Aid Interventions in Development and Economic Aspects

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met today, Monday, with Ms. Summer Nasser Al-Yafei, CEO of Yemen Aid, a Yemeni American Development Organization.
The President listened to a brief explanation from Ms. Al-Yafei about “Yemen Aid,” which was established in the USA in 2017 and works through its headquarters in the capital, Aden, in the development and economic aspects, with the aim of promoting stability and improving the standard of living for the most needy, low-income, and vulnerable families.
During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi was also familiarized with the interventions and projects implemented by Yemen Aid in the capital, Aden, and the liberated governorates in the sectors of water, health care, education, boosting food security, and improving livelihoods, in addition to the projects under implementation and the projects to be implemented during the coming period.
The President praised the organization’s activity and its relief and development interventions to help those in need, affirming his readiness to provide all facilities to the organization to enable it to implement its projects and interventions and reach the target groups with great ease.
