President Al-Zubaidi holds a joint meeting with national dialogue team and heads of a number of southern political components

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, held on Friday, a joint meeting with the internal southern national dialogue team, and heads of a number of southern political components, including lawyer Ali Haitham Al-Gharib, head of the Peaceful Southern Movement Council, former Minister of Justice, and Abdul Raouf Zain Al-Saqqaf, Head of the Supreme Council for the Revolutionary Movement, and Fadi Hassan Baoum, head of the Political Council of the Revolutionary Movement Council.
In the meeting, which was attended by two members of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Eng. Adnan Mohammed al-Kaf and Mr. Salem Thabet al-Awlaki, President Al-Zubaidi listened to a detailed explanation of the activities of the internal southern national dialogue team, and the outcome of its meetings with the various components, political parties, and civil society organizations, youths and women’s forums, legal personalities, and the visions that were presented during those meetings for the future and shape of the upcoming southern state.
During the meeting, the understandings reached by the dialogue team with a number of the main political components were reviewed, in order to hold a consultative meeting to find out about the draft national charter, and the views and observations on it, in preparation for its approval as a document that defines the form and future of partnership between all southern national forces and components.
More over, the meeting discussed mechanisms for coordinating action to strengthen the unity of the southern ranks, strengthen the home front, in a way to overcome the challenges facing the people of the South and their cause, and prepare for the upcoming important political events within the framework of international efforts to end the war and bring peace to the region.
