President Al-Zubaidi Inaugurates Broadcasting of “Nur Aden” Radio for Holy Quran

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the president of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), and Deputy Head of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) paid a visit to inaugurate the broadcasting of Nur Aden [The light of Aden] Radio for the Holy Qur’an, followed the Radio and Television Sector.
After the inauguration, President Al-Zubaidi toured sections, offices and the main broadcast studio of the radio, got briefed from those in charge of the technical means in which the radio broadcasts, the map of programs, and the materials it is going to broadcast to the public within its broadcast range in all governorates of the South on the 94.00 frequency within the FM short wave. In the same context, the president lauded the efforts of all the administrative and technical cadres that have contributed to its establishment.
In a concised speech, in the presence of the deputy head of the National Southern Media Authority (NSMA) and Head of Radio and Television Sector, the president Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of having a radio station concerned with the Holy Qur’an, its sciences and the honorable Prophetic sayings to enlighten communities about matters of the true Islamic religion and its correct approach, in addition to the dissemination of virtue and the values of goodness and tolerance among members of society.
To the end of his speech, President Al-Zubaidi indicated that the inauguration of the Holy Qu’ran Radio in the capital, Aden, will constitute a shining point of light, and a source of inspiration for Aden and the South in general, as it will definitely form an important role in guidance and promoting intellect, further to spreading the moderate religious discourse and sermons away from extremism and fanaticism.
