SMA NEWS – MUKALLA
President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), issued decrees No. 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 of the year 2023 as per the recommendations of the STC Restructuring Committee and the presentation of the STC’s presidium, which regulates the work of the STC’s authorities.
The decrees included the by-laws of each of the General Secretariat of the Presidium of the STC, the Institutional Development Authority, the Office of the President of the STC, the Department of Administrative and Financial Supervision and Inspection, and seven other authorities assisting the STC’s Presidium, the Financial and Administrative Affairs, the mechanism of appointment, and the system of penalties in the STC.
These decrees are stipulated to be enforced from the date of their issuance; any prior decree that contradicts their provisions shall be considered nil and void and to be published on the official gazette and media of the STC.
It is worth mentioning that the decrees come in implementation of the directives of the president of the STC on upgrading, updating, and re-developing the STC’s mechanisms, the completion of the by-laws of its authorities, the activation of the role of supervision, inspection, auditing, control, follow-up, evaluation, accountability, motivation when properly fulfilling the assigned tasks, and keeping pace and dealing with changes, which the Restructuring Committee has contributed in its preparation to reach this determined goal.
