President Al-Zubaidi meets Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, met at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Thursday, Mr. Tayol Kwak, the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to Yemen.
The meeting reviewed the latest political and humanitarian situation in our country, efforts to end the war and establish peace, and the rebellion of the terrorist Houthi militia, its intransigence, and its rejection of peace initiatives and its resort to military escalation.
In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi praised South Korea’s supportive stance of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government of power-sharing, praising the great Korean support for the humanitarian side in our country, expressing his aspiration to strengthen bilateral relations between our country and the Republic of Korea in all fields.
President Al-Zubaidi called on the Korean government to think seriously about expanding its investments in the capital, Aden, and the liberated governorates, noting the promising investment environment in our country, which would grant Korean friends great privileges in the oil and gas investment sector, infrastructure rehabilitation, information and communications technology, and small and medium industries. .
President Al-Zubaidi expressed his confidence in the ability of the Korean government to enhance the support it provides to our country in the field of training and rehabilitation, and to build the capacity of cadres of government institutions, as South Korea is a pioneer in this field.

For his part, Ambassador Kwak affirmed the position of his country’s government in support of the internationally recognized legitimacy in our country, represented by the Presidential Leadership Council and the government of power-sharing, and support for regional and international efforts to extend the truce and launch a comprehensive political process to end the war and bring peace to our country.
The Korean ambassador also affirmed his country’s readiness to expand the scope of support provided to the government by increasing funding for humanitarian projects, doubling cultural exchange grants, and enhancing rehabilitation and training opportunities by adopting infrastructure rehabilitation projects for technical education and vocational training institutions that were destroyed by the war to prepare young people for the labor market.
