President Al-Zubaidi meets with Chairman of Board of Directors of “Al-Ayyam” Press Foundation

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, met on Wednesday, in his office in the capital, Aden, with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ayyam Foundation for Press, Printing, Publishing and Distribution, Mr. Tammam Bashrahil.
In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi praised the prominent pioneering role played by Al-Ayyam Foundation in defending the cause of the people of the south, and exposing the practices of the occupation during the past years.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed that Al-Ayyam newspaper was and still represents the shining face of the southern media, and relied on it and all the honorable southern media to advance the awareness of southern people and defend their issues and their stolen rights since May 21, 1990.
President Al-Zubaidi noted that Al-Ayyam and its leadership, headed by the late Hisham Bashrahil, paid a heavy price for their solid stances in the face of the arrogance and conceit of the brutal authorities that were perching on the chest of the south, and confiscated the rights of its people, and their right to express themselves by words.
The meeting discussed the most important media aspects in the southern press and media institutions, in addition to the latest developments and political updates on the southern arena, especially with regard to the Riyadh Agreement.
For his part, Bashraheel, valued the moves of the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, led by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, and the attention paid by him to the southern media institutions, in order to advance them.
At the end of the meeting, Bashraheel stressed that Al-Ayyam Foundation always stands by the legitimate aspirations of the people of the South, and calls on the sons of the South to unite and rally around the Transitional Council, which represents the South honestly, defends its rights, and seeks to achieve the aspirations of its people.
