President Al-Zubaidi meets with dignitaries and notables of Al-Sabiha districts in Lahj governorate

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidarous Qasim Al-Zubaidi, met on Monday, at the Council’s headquarters in the capital, Aden, with dignitaries and notables of Al-Sabiha and its four districts in Lahj governorate.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Mohamed Saeed Al-Za’ori, and the Fourth Military Commander, Major General Fadl Hassan Mohammed, and Head of the Executive Board of the Local Leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Lahj governorate, lawyer Ramzi Al-Shuaibi, and a number of military commanders from Al-Sabiha.
President Al-Zubaidi praised the heroic role of the people of Al-Sabiha and their struggle in various historical phases of the south since the first independence on 30 November 1967 and even today.
President Al-Zubaidi added: “The importance of Al-Sabiha lies within its person, its struggling history, and its geographical position, and its strategic location overlooking the international shipping lane and Bab al-Mandab”, pointing out to that: “Al-Sabiha, with its entire geographical extent, will remain an impenetrable fence that will fail all conspiracies and greediness targeting the South, its security and stability”.
The President stressed the need to strengthen ranks unity and societal cohesion at the level of the South and Al-Sabiha regions in particular, which is exposed to conspiracies aimed at weakening and losing its pioneering struggle role and its sovereign position on the most important global shipping lanes,pointing out that such a mission is crucial and inevitable, especially in the current phase that the south is going through.
President Al-Zubaidi urged the dignitaries and notables of Al-Sabiha, to play their role in confronting the revenge phenomenon that is extraneous on Al-Sabiha and the whole South, calling for the need to work on finding a charter of honor that represents the complete societal consensus for the citizens of Al-Sabiha to face this phenomenon, which external parties stand behind it.
The President concluded his speech by saying that: “The issue of the hero leader, Minister of Defense, Major General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi and his colleagues is our first issue and the cause of every southerner,” stressing that the Council’s leadership will make all its efforts and means of pressure to release them.
In turn, the Minister Dr. Mohamed Saeed Al-Za’ori expressed his thanks to President Al-Zubaidi, and his special attention to Al-Sabiha and its people and its resistance, stressing that this fruitful meeting is a proactive initiative that will make Al-Sabiha and its sons more steadfast in the face of the conspiracies targeting the security, stability and sovereignty of the South and the gains of its liberation victories.
After that, President Al-Zubaidi listened to a number of interventions, from the dignitaries of Al-Sabiha who responded to the invitation to this extended meeting, during which they expressed their firm southern position alongside the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council represented by the President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi in which they valued the political and military victories that have been achieved for the South since the establishment of the Southern Transitional Council, stressing that Al-Sabiha was and will remain the cemetery of the invaders and the fortified shield of the South, its people, and its cause.
