President Al-Zubaidi Meets with GCC Secretary-General

President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met on the sidelines of his participation in the activities of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Switzerland today, Wednesday, with His Excellency Mr. Jasem Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC).
The meeting discussed the recent developments in the political and humanitarian situation in the country and the region in light of the ongoing Houthi escalation in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandeb Strait.
The meeting also reviewed the latest developments related to the UN-led political process to end the war and bring about peace in the country.
In his meeting with Mr. Al-Budaiwi, President Al-Zubaidi highly appreciated the efforts made by the GCC countries to support the PLC and the government to maintain security and stability in the country.
