President Al-Zubaidi Meets with MENA Director at the Russian MFA

President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), on Monday, met Mr. Alexander Kinschak, the Director of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

The meeting, which was attended by Mr. Timur Zabirov, Russian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and officials from the Yemen and Gulf Department of the Russian MFA, discussed the latest developments in the political and economic situation and the opportunities for achieving lasting peace through a comprehensive political process led by the United Nations.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohammed Al-Ghaithi, member of the STC’s Presidium and Head of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission (CRC) of the PLC, Mr. Amr Ali Al-Beidh, member of the STC’s Presidium and the Special Representative of the President of the STC, Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, Head of the Auxiliary Political Commission of the STC.
