President Al-Zubaidi Meets with Prime Minister of the KRG in Iraq and Head of South Africa Delegation

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met on the sidelines of his participation in the activities of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos on Thursday, with both Mr. Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region Government (KRG) in Iraq, and Mr. Enoch Godongwana, Minister of Finance of the Republic of South Africa, head of the delegation of his country participating in the WEF.
During his meeting with the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, President Al-Zubaidi reviewed the bilateral relations between the country and brotherly Iraq and the prospects for joint cooperation at various levels.
During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi expressed his condemnation of the heinous attack that targeted Erbil Governorate, articulating his condolences to the families of the civilian victims who died in the terrorist attack the day before yesterday and his wishes for a speedy recovery for those injured.
In the other meeting, President Al-Zubaidi discussed with Mr. Enoch Godongwana, Minister of Finance of the Government of the Republic of South Africa, the prospects for joint cooperation and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
