President Al-Zubaidi Meets with Sheikh Hussain al-Awadhi; Member of CRC

The president Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Deputy head of the Presidential Leadership Council, on Thursday evening, in the STC’s headquarters, in the capital Aden, met with Sheikh Hussain al-Aggi al-Awadhi; the member of the Consultation and Reconciliation Committee (CRC) of the PLC, former governor of Algawf.

Initially, the president Al-Zubaidi welcomed Sheikh al-Awadhi and listened from him to a brief explanation on the latest developments in Algawf governorate and the people’s suffering resulted from daily violations and inhumane acts practiced by Houthi militias, affirming the support of the PLC for all efforts of national personalities to achieve cohesiveness and direct endeavours to the common enemy represented by the terrorist Houthi militias.

Furthermore, the president Al-Zubaidi reiterated the crucial role that is goining to be assumed by the CRC in assisting the PLC, promoting the national consensus, mobilizing efforts and supporting reforms in all fields to ensure fulfilling a paradigm shift; which could positively be felt by all citizens after years of distress.

For his part, Sheikh Hussain al-Awadhi expressed his happiness to meet the president Al-Zubaidi, appreciating his immense efforts in settling down many complexities and differences among the political parties to unify the efforts, confront Houthi militias and achieve victory for the Arab Project, further to his positions in supporting and assisting the people of Algawf to liberate their governorate from the control and dominance of Houthi militias
