President Al-Zubaidi Meets with UAE Foreign Minister

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met on Wednesday evening with his excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on the sidelines of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.
In the beginning of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi expressed his deep gratitude for the sincere fraternal positions of the brotherly United Arab Emirates, its leadership, government, and people with our people, and its efforts in supporting both the PLC and the power-sharing government, in addition to its never-ending humanitarian support for our people either in the past or present.
The meeting reviewed the efforts made by the brothers in the region and the international community to end the war and bring peace to the country. In this context, the two sides stressed the importance of concerted efforts to reach a just and sustainable peace that achieves security and stability in the country and the entire region.
