President Al-Zubaidi Orders Highest Level of Combat Readiness for Forces Stationed on Border Fronts in Abyan

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), was briefed on the position of the military forces on the border fronts in Abyan Governorate when he met today, Monday, with Major General Fadhl Hassan, Commander of the Fourth Military Division, and Brigadier General Sanad Al-Rahwa, Commander of the Abyan Operational Axis, Commander of the First Presidential Guard Brigade.

During the meeting, the president listened to a satisfied explanation from Major General Fadhl Hassan and Brigadier General Al-Rahwa about the readiness of the forces stationed in the border fronts in Abyan governorate in light of the insistence of the Houthi militia on the military escalation and declining regional and international endeavors to calm and a cease-fire.

The commander-in-chief stressed the importance of keeping the forces at the highest level of combat readiness, full vigilance, and raising the level of operational coordination between the various military units in Abyan, except those participating in the military operation “Arrows of the East”, and between the forces stationed on the border fronts, in order to ensure the integration of all efforts and the completion of military and security tasks efficiently and effectively.

In turn, Major General Fadhl Hassan and Brigadier Al-Rahwa appreciated the incessant support provided by President Al-Zubaidi to the military forces stationed on the border fronts in Abyan governorate, the forces participating in the operation “Arrows of the East”, and his keenness to provide them with whatever is possible to accomplish the assigned tasks in countering Houthi attacks and combating terrorist organizations.
