President Al-Zubaidi: Our Battle Against Terrorism is Fateful and Irreversible

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), held a meeting on Wednesday with military commanders and security officers in Abyan Governorate.
The President initiated the meeting, which included Major General Fadhl Hassan, Commander of the Fourth Military Division, Brigadier General Mohsen Al-Wali, Commander of the Security Belt Forces, Major General Fadhl Ba’esh, Commander of the Special Forces Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Al-Dhalea, Brigadier General Mukhtar Al-Nubi, Commander of the Abyan Axis, and Brigadier General Ali Naser Al-Dheeb Ba Azab; known as “Abu Misha’al Al-Kazmi”, Security General Director of Abyan, with prayers for mercy on the blessed martyrs who sacrificed their precious souls to maintain security and stability in Abyan and all the governorates of the South.
The president commended the efforts made by all the commanders and personnel participating in the military operation “Arrows of the East” to cleanse Abyan of terrorist organizations, highlighting that the great victories achieved by the operation are the fruit of the concerted efforts of all without exception.
The president reiterated that the battle against terrorism is fateful, non-stop, and will never be retreated until the eradication of this scourge that is alien to our peaceful and moderate southern community and the consolidation of security and stability in all governorates of the South.
After that, the meeting stood before the latest security and military developments in Abyan governorate and what the military and security units have accomplished in the governorate within the framework of the second phase mission of the military operation “Arrows of the East”, the suggestions raised by commanders of units to update the military plan to keep pace with developments and face the challenges on the ground, and ways possible to provide the required logistics and assistance to properly perform their role and accomplish the assigned tasks in this aspect.
At the end of the meeting, the president stressed the importance of intensifying efforts, enhancing intelligence services, raising the level of coordination between all military and security units, and activating political and awareness-raising work among the community to preserve the military and security gains achieved.
The meeting was attended by Major General Kamal Jawad Hamshari, member of the STC’s Presidium and office head of the President of the Council, and Brigadier General Ahmed Hassan, head of the Security Department of the STC.
