President Al-Zubaidi praises active participation of Al-Mahra and Socotra political and social components in the consultative meeting

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, on Monday, received representatives of the political and social components from the governorates of Al-Mahra and Socotra, who participated in the consultative meeting of the components, political parties and southern civil society organizations.
In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi praised the keenness shown by the political and social components in Al-Mahra and Socotra to unify the southern ranks, and their response to the invitation to participate in the consultative meeting, stressing that this is not strange or new for the people of the two governorates, sympathizing with the huge sacrifices they made for the sake of victory for the cause of the South throughout the struggle of the people of the South since 1994.
During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi listened to a brief explanation from representatives of the political and social components of the people of Al-Mahra and Socotra about the conditions in the two governorates, the problems that the people of the two governorates suffer from, and the ways to solve them.
For their part, the representatives of the political and social components of Al-Mahra and Socotra confirmed the support of the people of Socotra and Al-Mahra with the Southern Transitional Council headed by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi until the achievement of the supreme goal of the people of the South represented in liberation, independence, restoration and building of the independent Southern federal state.
