President Al-Zubaidi praises struggling roles of people of Al-Mahra and their keenness on unity of southerners

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, on Wednesday, received a high-level delegation of the people of Al-Mahra governorate, led by Sheikh Rajeh bin Saeed Bakrit, member of the Shura Council, former governor of Al-Mahra Governorate.
The delegation included a number of political, social, and military personalities, businessmen, and academics from Al-Mahra Governorate, who came to the capital, Aden, to participate in the southern consultative meeting of the southern political components, which is scheduled to start on Thursday, 4 May 2023.
In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed the delegation, praising the great struggle roles of the people of Al-Mahra and their sacrifices along the path of the southern liberation revolution, and the revolutionary momentum that the governorate is witnessing in its various regions and sprawling aspects for the victory of the rights of the people of Al-Mahra within the framework of the desired southern state project.
President Al-Zubaidi reaffirmed that Al-Mahra Governorate represents a fundamental pillar in the desired southern state, as it is the eastern gateway to the south, with its cultural and historical heritage, strategic and economic importance.
President Al-Zubaidi praised the efforts of the attendees, their response to the invitation, and their enduring of the trouble of traveling to reach the capital, Aden, to participate in the southern consultative meeting, stressing that this reflects the keenness and interest of the people of Al-Mahra on the unity of the southern ranks, and the strengthening national cohesion, as an inevitable necessity to achieve the aspirations and goals of our people, for which they offered the best men and heroes, reiterating his supportive position for the people of Al-Mahra and their right to manage the civil, military and security affairs of their governorate.
After that, President Al-Zubaidi listened to a brief explanation from the attendees of the overall conditions in Al-Mahra Governorate, and the issues and demands of the people of the governorate, in which President Al-Zubaidi affirmed that what was raised would be of interest to him, and he would continue his efforts within the framework of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to do justice to Al-Mahra and empower its people in decision-making circles. .
For their part, the delegation of Al-Mahra expressed blesses for the efforts made by President Al-Zubaidi to unify the southern ranks, stressing that Al-Mahra was and will remain present in the cities of the south, and an integral part of the great southern homeland, renewing at the same time their alignment behind him to lead the ship of the south to safety.
The meeting was attended by Mohammed Al-Ghaithi, Head of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission of the Presidential Leadership Council.
