President Al-Zubaidi Receives Delegation from Republican Party

The President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), the Deputy chairman of Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Wednesday evening, received a delegation from the Republican Party headed by Mr. Mohammed Jaylan, chairman of the party.

At the beginning of the meeting, the president Al-Zubaidi welcomed the leaders of the Republican Party, stressed that the stage requires mounting the national interest, rejecting causes of division and uniting efforts in the face of the common enemy that is represented by the Houthi militia, Iran’s proxy in the region.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed that the political parties bear a great responsibility, side-by-side with the various national forces, to get the country out of cocoon of war and crises to horizon of peace and stability, affirming the need for coordination, cooperation and work to create a national alignment to liberate the governirates still under the control of the Houthi militias.

For their part, the leaders of the Republican Party offered congratulations to the president on the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council and the success of Riyadh consultations, stressing their supportive and cooperative position to the leadership of the Council and readiness to perform assigned national tasks, appreciating the firm national attitudes of the president Al-Zubaidi in confronting the Houthi militia and its attempts to expand in the entire region.
