President Al-Zubaidi receives delegation of Abyan from representatives of the components participating in consultative meeting

The President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, received on Wednesday, representatives of political and social components, princes and sultans from Abyan, who participated in the southern consultative meeting that was recently hosted in the capital, Aden.
In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi expressed his appreciation for the large presence of the representatives of the political and social components of the people of Abyan governorate in the consultative meeting, praising their high patriotic spirit, their prominent presence at all the turns that the southern liberation revolution went through, and their constant keenness to strengthen the southern alignment.
President Al-Zubaidi listened from the participants to a brief explanation of the situation in Abyan, and the concerns of the people of the governorate, in addition to a number of briefings and observations about the problems that it suffers from in general.
The present from Abyan congratulated President Al-Zubaidi for the great success achieved by the southern consultative meeting, which culminated in the signing of the Southern National Pact, affirming their support for his leadership until the restoration of the southern state with its full sovereignty.
In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi promised the attendees to pay a visit to Abyan governorate, to find out the needs of its people, and to inspect the progress of work in a number of projects being implemented in the governorate, foremost of which is the Hassan Dam project, which is one of the largest vital projects in the South.
At the end of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi assigned a number of the attendees from representatives of Abyan to prepare a draft to activate the role of the tribal side in the governorate to solve its problems.
