President Al-Zubaidi receives the Ambassador of UAE

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, received on Thursday, Shiekh Mohammed Hamad Al-Zaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Yemen.
The meeting discussed developments in the political process led by the United Nations in our country, and the efforts exerted by the regional and international communities to end the war and establish peace in the region.
During the meeting, developments in the humanitarian situation in our country were reviewed in light of the difficulties facing the Presidential Leadership Council and the government of power-sharing and their efforts to address the economic crisis caused by the war, and the halt in oil exports. In this regard, President Al-Zubaidi appreciated the continuous support provided by the sister country of the United Arab Emirates to alleviate the suffering of our people.
For his part, Ambassador Al-Zaabi renewed his country’s position in support of efforts to end the war and bring peace to the region, and everything that would restore security and stability and start the development process in the country.
