President Al-Zubaidi stresses importance of promoting Al-Tawahi district as main tourist hotspot for Aden the capital

The President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, on Wednesday, met with the Director General of the Office of Public Works and Roads in the capital, Aden, Eng. Walid Al-Sarari, and the Director General of Al-Tawahi district, Wajdi Alwan Al-Shabi.
In the meeting, which was attended by the Director General of the Works Office in Al-Tawahi district, Zaher Omar, President Al-Zubaidi listened from Al-Sarari and Al-Shabi to a brief explanation of the workflow of the works offices in Aden the capital in general, and in Al-Tawahi district in particular, in addition to the efforts being made in organizing markets and paving, lighting, cleaning, and asphalting roads, and improvement projects.
President Al-Zubaidi pointed out that the efforts made by the Public Works Offices in the capital, Aden, are visible and tangible, through the remarkable improvement witnessed in the capital, in terms of lighting, and asphalting roads, paving works, and organizing cars parking, which contributed to reducing traffic jams in many main streets and helped in affording smooth movement in it.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed the need to make more efforts and intensify work at the level of the capital, Aden in general, and Al-Tawahi district in particular, and promote it in various fields, as it is a main tourist hotspot for the capital, Aden, and a destination for visitors from various governorates and districts during the holidays, due to its special tourist qualities.
For their part, the Director General of the Works Office in Aden the capital, and the Director General of Al-Tawahi district, and the Director of the Public Works Office in the district, all expressed their thanks and appreciation to President Al-Zubaidi for the great support he provides to the Public Works Offices and the local authority in the capital, Aden, and its districts, and his keenness to overcome all difficulties facing the progress of their works.
