President Al-Zubaidi Urges Government to Dedicate Efforts and Improve Services

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (LPC), has underscored the important role of the government in devoting efforts and finding quick solutions to public services, foremost of which is the power supply.
During the meeting that took place today, Tuesday, at the Ma’asheeq Presidential Palace with the Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdul-Malik, President Al-Zubaidi indicated that the energy supply in the capital, Aden, and other governorates has reached a sharply deteriorating shortage level where it is no longer acceptable to remain as it is, and this crisis must be ended immediately because of its negative impact on all aspects of the lives of citizens.
The President emphasized that each ministry should assume its responsibilities and implement its entrusted tasks to serve citizens through its actual presence on the ground and at its headquarters in the capital, Aden, with its full staff, noting in the context that the stay of any minister or official abroad, except the designated ones, is no longer acceptable.
The meeting discussed the economic situation, the mechanisms to achieve the conditions set to benefit from the pledges made by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the implementation of the program of financial, institutional, and structural reforms in the government, and the policies to be strictly followed to rationalize spending.
