President Al-Zubaidi: We appreciate the great position of sons of Shabwa in confronting practices of Brotherhood militia

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, met on Thursday, the members of the National Assembly of the Council from Shabwa governorate, who participated in the fourth session of the National Assembly, which was held in the capital, Aden.
The meeting discussed the general situation in Shabwa governorate, due to the deterioration of the service sectors, the rampant corruption in it, and the violations committed by the Brotherhood militia against the Council’s cadres in Shabwa, and against the citizens, and the state of lawlessness in it.
President Al-Zubaidi valued the great position of all sons of Shabwa, in their standing and confronting the practices of the Brotherhood militias, stressing that the issue of Shabwa governorate comes at the forefront of the work of the Council’s leadership, in which it pays special attention to it, and seeks by all means to extricate it from its deteriorating situation.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed that the Council will not remain silent about human rights violations, and the continuation of murders, assassinations and arbitrary arrests committed by the military and security authorities under the control of the Brotherhood militia in Shabwa, or any attempts to empower al-Qaeda and ISIS terrorist organizations in the governorate.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of strengthening the unity of all the components of Shabwani society, as well as consolidating the southern identity and the issue of the people of the south, as a fundamental and pivotal issue that cannot be waived, until the full achievement of the national goals represented in restoring and building the federal state of the south with its capital, Aden.
President Al-Zubaidi praised the active role of the members of the National Assembly of the people of Shabwa governorate, despite the difficult circumstances facing them, calling on all members to make more efforts to strengthen and cohesion the community fabric, and make the utmost possible efforts to alleviate the suffering of citizens, touch on their concerns and needs, and provide needs to them according to the available capabilities. .
During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi got briefed by members of the National Assembly on the overall situation in the governorate, and the suffering of the citizens in the city of Ataq and the rest of the governorate’s districts due to the deteriorating service conditions, as well as the suppressions carried out by the Brotherhood militia against the sons of Shabwa in particular, and the south in general, in addition to the great security chaos that Shabwa is experiencing, and the wide spread of terrorist elements targeting members of the Shabwani elite in particular.
The members of the National Assembly from the people of Shabwa governorate expressed their happiness to meet with the President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, stressing that Shabwa will be at the forefront of the ranks to defend the South and its just cause until the full achievement of the national goals for which they have been striving since 1994.
They pointed out that the people of Shabwa will be at the level of confidence in maintaining the southern political, military and security constants, and the great southern victories under the leadership of the President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi.
