President Al-Zubaidi: With departure of Ba’Alawi the South lost virtuous leader and fighter who spoke the truth in rejection of occupation

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, sent a cable of condolences on the demise of Mr. Abdullah Alawi Ba’Alawi, the member of the National Assembly of the Council, who passed away in the city of Ghail Bawazeer in Hadhramaut Governorate, after a life full of struggle.
In the telegram, President Al-Zubaidi expressed his deepest condolences and great sympathy to the sons and brothers of the deceased, members of his family and all his relatives, and shared with them their grief over this painful affliction.
In his telegram, President Al-Zubaidi listed the roles of struggling of the deceased, who was one of the first to utter the word of truth by expressing his rejection of what resulted from the war of occupation of the south in 1994, and the persecutions and arrests that he was subjected to by the occupation regime because of his political activity, as well as his role as a virtuous leader that had his famous contributions for graduating generations armed with science, knowledge, belonging and patriotism.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed that the departure of Ba’Alawi represents not only a heavy loss for Ghail Bawazir, but also for Hadhramaut Governorate and the South in general, and the Southern Transitional Council in particular, in which he is one of its most prominent cadres known for their dedication and sincerity.
At the conclusion of his telegram, President Al-Zubaidi prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow mercy and forgiveness on the deceased, to dwell his soul in paradise, and to inspire his family and relatives patience and solace.
