President Al-Zubaidi witnesses the publication of the South Postal Stamps book

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, on Saturday, witnessed the publication of the book (The South Postal Stamps – Identity of a Nation) by historian and researcher in the field of postage stamps, Mr. Aref Al-Hariri,.
The book launching ceremony came in the presence of the head of the cultural department, Mr. Amr Mohammed Aqeel, with the production of the cultural department in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council.
The book combines all the stamps issued and related to the state of the South from the nineteenth century until the last postage stamp issued in 1989, in addition to the postage stamps issued by the southern sultanates.
The book documents the history of the development of the postal service of the southern state in its various stages, making it a rare knowledge material that stands in the way of the Yemeni occupation forces’ attempts to erase the cultural history of the South since after the treacherous war of 1994.
