President of Self-Administration discusses ways to secure electricity fuel and supply stations during Eid al-Adha holiday
The President of Self-Administration of the South discusses ways to secure electricity fuel and supply stations with petroleum products during the holiday of Eid al-Adha.
The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Transitional Council, the President of the Self-Administration of the South, Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, met on Thursday, the General Manager of the oil company, Intisar Al-Arasha, and the Director General of Tandoora Energy and Nebtion Energy Companies, Hisham Abu Bakr Alawi.
The meeting discussed ways to secure access of electricity fuels to power generation stations, and to supply government, private, and commercial stations in the capital Aden with oil derivatives, and to ensure that they do not stop during the period of the blessed Eid Al-Adha vacation and cut the way against the gangs that sell oil in the black market.
The meeting also discussed special suggestions on improving the electricity power situation for the capital Aden during the coming periods and years, and mechanisms for developing the electrical power system, in which the possibility of bringing in ambulatory energy that could alleviate the suffering of citizens was discussed.
The meeting also discussed the conversion of the type of fuel used from diesel to liquefied gas, which will save more than 300 million USD annually, as well as converting the air network to a ground network that contributes to reducing losses, and in the context the President of the Self-Administration stressed on the need to prepare a comprehensive study of the problem of the electricity power and provide sustainable solutions to this issue.
