President of Self-Administration meets with a number of tribal sheikhs and social figures of Hadramout the valley and Desert

[su_dropcap]T[/su_dropcap]he Chairman of the National Assembly of the Transitional Council, President of the Self-Administration of the South, Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, met today, Tuesday, with a number of tribal elders, dignitaries, and social figures from the valley and the desert of Hadramout, who came to the capital Aden to announce their support and blessing of the decision of self-administration for the south.

In the meeting that included Major Salem Al-Socotri, the Assistant Secretary-General, Deputy Head of Self-Administration, and Lawyer Niran Sooki, Member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly, Major General Bin Brik welcomed all present, noting to the great position that the province of Hadramout has in the southern body.

Major General Bin Brik asserted that the Southern Transitional Council and Self-Administration pay Hadramaut exceptional attention befitting to its history, struggle, economic, and cultural presence, praising in the context the role of the sons of Hadramaut in their support and their demand to achieve self-administration in Hadramaut to establish security and stability in their province, and to meet their requirements in service projects and development in all fields, especially after being deprived during the past periods as a result of the absurd practices of the failed so-called governments of legitimacy, and the monopoly of the decision-making authority regarding what is related to oil wealth and local resources, in order to continue to plunder the wealth of Hadramaut and the south and make it an arena of terrorist operations.

For their part, tribal elders, dignitaries, and social figures from the valley and the desert of Hadramout blessed the steps of the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, declaring their support for self-administration in all its decisions to establish security, stability, and normalizing the public life in the capital Aden and all the southern governorates, expressing their willingness to succeed in achieving self-administration in Hadramout governorate to get the fair share of its wealth and rights in complete and undiminished.

They also renewed their appeal to the Arab coalition countries to meet the popular demands of the people of Hadramaut in the Valley and Desert to liberate Hadramaut Valley, which is living a dangerous juncture in its history, whose cities were and still are the scene of terrorist operations sponsored by the Yemeni regime and its profound apparatus, without any serious government effort to stop it, and enabling the people of the province with their various societal components to take charge in the security institutions in Hadramout Valley and Desert, as they are the most worthy of protecting and securing their land.
