President Zubaidi Checks on Health of Major General Ba’esh and Comrades

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), reassured the health of the Commander of the Special Forces (Aden, Lahj, Abyan, and Al-Dhalea), Major General Fadhl Ba’esh, following the treacherous terrorist car bombing that targeted his convoy in the down town of Abyan Governorate, Zanjibar, today, Monday.
The president made a phone call to the major general, Ba’esh, this afternoon, during which his excellency reassured the conditions of the injured in the major general’s escorts, stressing the importance of following up on their health conditions and giving them full medical care and intensive attention until they recover.
During the call, President Al-Zubaidi commended the efforts of Major General Ba’esh, personnel of the Special Forces, and all military and security forces in Abyan Governorate in confronting the threat of terrorist elements and maintaining the security and stability of the governorate.
For his part, Major General Ba’esh extended his thanks to President Al-Zubaidi for his call and checking on his health condition and the conditions of the injured, affirming that such cowardly attacks will only increase the command of the Special Security Forces and its heroic affiliates, insisting on continuing their efforts in combating terrorism, defeating it, and eliminating it until cleansing Abyan Governorate and the South in general of this alien scourge on our peaceful society.
