President Zubaidi: Southern Reconciliation and Tolerance Day will Remain Major Approach that Illuminates us the Way

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), confirmed that on January 13, 2006, the people of the South strengthened the pillars of their liberation revolution march and its cemented popular, political, and organizational structure.

In a brief speech his excellency published on his pages on social media on the occasion of the anniversary of Reconciliation and Tolerance Day (RTD), the President indicated that the people of the Radfan Association in the capital, Aden, hosted, on this day in 2006, a historic southern meeting so that the people of the South would overcome the wounds of the past and take inspiration from the lessons, starting towards the future to reach what has been achieved of strength, cohesiveness, and partnership in unrelenting struggle, ultimate sacrifice, and decision-making.

President Al-Zubaidi concluded his speech by saying, “Southern reconciliation and tolerance day will remain the authentic and consistent approach that illuminates the way for us and a sublime and noble principle present in word, deed, thought, behavior, and practice in all aspects of our lives.”
