Prosecution of Industry in Aden destroys large quantities of spoiled chicken, cheese, and medicines

The Prosecution of Industry and Trade in the capital, Aden, destroyed large quantities of chicken, meat and cheese derivatives, and 354 cartons of expired medicines.

The destruction included seven tons of chicken, meat derivatives, and spoiled cheese as a result of poor storage, the appearance of a human condition on them, and the emission of odors.

While the destroyed expired medications included two categories, the first was 320 cartons of Vitamin C, 500 grams, and the second was 34 cartons of Amzol, 40 grams.

The Director General of Consumer Protection, Fadl Sweileh, called on all merchants to adhere to the standards of storage and quality of medicines and to sense the spirit of human and societal responsibility towards the safety and health of the consumer citizen, stressing that there will be no tolerance for those who violate regulations and laws and disdain the health and safety of citizens.
