Protest in front of Coalition headquarter in # Shabwa demanding release of southern prisoners

The city of Ataq, the capital of Shabwa governorate, witnessed on Sunday a popular mas protest for the people of the province to demand the release of the southern prisoners.

The protest held in front of the gate of Ataq airport, which is being used by the Arab Coalition forces in the city, in which dozens of citizens organized a rally to demand the release of prisoners held in the prisons of the Brotherhood’s militia, first of them the captive Abu Sam al-Yafii and Mohsen al-Sawa al-Khulaifi.

In spite of the exchange of the majority of the prisoners and the handover of the Transitional Council all the prisoners they have, the Brotherhood’s militia refused to hand over the prisoner Abu Sam al-Yafi in a clear violation of the Riyadh Agreement.

The Islah Brotherhood’s militias affiliated with Qatar in Shabwa governorate carry out a wide campaign of kidnappings Shabwani elite soldiers, activists, and media personalities of the governorate.
