Protest in Shabwa to demand speedy rescue of the governorate from the militias occupying it

In response to the call of Shabwa Sons Alliance, hundreds of residents of Al-Said district in Shabwa governorate, gathered in Yashbam area, to hold a protest, demanding the speedy rescue of Shabwa from the occupying militias.
The protesters raised slogans condemning the fall of three districts in Shabwa into the hands of the Houthi militia.
The protesters denounced the Brotherhood’s leniency with the expansion of the Houthi militia and handing over the three districts of Baihan with all its forces and camps without any interference or attempt to confront it.
The protesters also denounced the continuation of the Brotherhood’s militias of the Islah Party to launch campaigns of arbitrary arrests against the people of Shabwa, and their ignoring of confronting the progress of the Iranian Houthi militia towards the province’s capital, Ataq.
The protesters issued a statement calling on the Arab coalition to form a fact-finding committee for the fall of the three districts of Baihan, and to hold accountable all those who had a role in the betrayal of Shabwa and its sons, as the statement called for the speedy return of the Emirati forces and their handing over the military and security file after the failure resulted due to the leave of the Shabwani Elite Forces.
The statement stressed the speedy return of the Shabwani Elite Forces because of their critical importance in confronting all terrorist militia formations, which re-deployed with the facilitation of the ruling Brotherhood authorities in Shabwa.
The protesters denounced the practice of the Brotherhood’s authority by preventing the resistance men from staying on the front lines to confront the Houthi militias in Al-Safra and other sites.
