Public Campaign Against Drugs continued in Al-Farooq Secondary School in Gear – Khanfar

[su_dropcap]A[/su_dropcap]wareness rising campaign against drugs risks launched by SAMA Organization for Development and Guidance continued for the third day on Tuesday February 5th, 2019 at Al-Farook Secondary School for Boys in Gear – Khanfar.
Aidarous Hady, head of organizational department of SAMA Organization, delivered a lecture about risks of drugs indicating that all types of drugs, including domestic types are very serious as they all lead to addiction. He added that more than 160 types of drugs are sold as medicines without prescriptions.
Mohamed Saleh Al-Shamali, principal of Al-Farooq Secondary school, appreciated the great role of SAMA Organization in this campaign asserting that drugs should be avoided as it demolishes societies. Saleh Hasan, a student, delivered a speech in English about types of drugs and thanked SAMA Organization for choosing the school as part of its program.
Faisal Al-Saidi, head of SAMA Organization branch in Abian, Safwat Toug, member of SAMA Organization, Saleh Al-Moakeri, social worker and head of educational media in Khanfar, Abd Al-Kareem Hamza, deputy of the school, and several teachers attended the meeting.
