“Qatar Supports Al-Houthis and other Terrorist Groups to Serve the Iranian Project in the Arab Region”: Spokesman of the Southern Transitional Council
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Salem Thabet Al-Awlaky, official spokesman of the southern transitional council accused Qatar of supporting Al-Houthis and other terrorist groups in Yemen to disturb stability.
In a tweet on his page on tweeter, Al-Awlaky said: “Doha played a major negative role in disturbing stability of Yemen and provided Al-Houthis and other terrorist groups with their needs to remain alive in the fields of battles and in media just to serve the Iranian project in the Arab Region through targeting its stability and its peoples”.
Southern social media activists launched a hashtag #Doha_Kills_Aden in an expression of major public resentment of Qatari interference in their country’s internal affairs and its support to terrorism through its media tools and intelligence.
It is noteworthy that four Arab countries, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt and Bahrain, cut their diplomatic relations with Qatar accusing Doha of supporting terrorism and disturbing stability of the whole region. Qatar’s participation in the Arab Coalition against Al-Houthi militias, supported by Iran, was terminated on the background of Qatari actions fostering terrorism and supporting its wings in Yemen in addition to dealing with Al-Houthis on the contrary of the coalition objectives.
