Raising readiness of Fifth Shabwa Defense Brigade to relieve citizens from floods

Brigadier General Ahmed bin Shalil, Commander of the Fifth Shabwa Defense Brigade, on Friday, ordered the brigade’s units to raise the level of readiness in the Lower and Upper Markha districts, to confront the damage caused by the torrential rains resulting from the depression.
Shalil stressed providing relief to citizens and preserving their safety, noting the importance of spreading community awareness to stay away from floodwaters and be careful.
The Commander of the Fifth Shabwa Defense Brigade said that the brigade units deployed in various areas of Lower and Upper Markha are prepared to take the necessary measures to confront the risks resulting from bad weather conditions that threaten the safety of citizens and their property.
